Brandon Allen - Plainsville, GA
Web, Palmer, and Hank Blackmon - Opelika, AL
Gregg Bowling - Livingston, TN
Tom Brewer - Denham Springs, LA
Tom Brewer grew up traveling as a dependent in an Army family. He got caught up in the “drugs, sex, and rock n roll” of the late 60s. After leaving home in the middle of his senior year in high school, he was led to the Lord in the spring of 1972 by a friend in Atlanta, GA. He then joined the Army and served four years in the infantry with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, HI. He reenlisted for three more years in the Military Police at Ft. Polk, LA. The Lord used the Navigators to disciple Tom while he was in the Army. After leaving the Army, Tom attended NSU in Natchitoches, LA, for two years and then transferred to LSU in Baton Rouge, LA.
Tom helped start Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Baton Rouge, LA, and he met his wife Sharon in church, where they have been members since 1982. Tom and Sharon have grown under the ministry of Pastor Mark LaCour, and they have five adult children and seven grandchildren. Retired from doing desktop support at the LSU Libraries, Tom now teaches in a Christian Classical school.
Tom began doing open-air evangelism on the campus of LSU in 2013. The Lord brought other opportunities for street preaching, and over the years Tom has preached at the local abortion mill, parades, festivals, and downtown events primarily in Baton Rouge, LA, and in his home town of Denham Springs, LA. After preaching at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, LA, in 2019, Tom has been traveling with Jack Clark and Zoe White on Fridays to minister at the New Orleans abortion mill in the afternoons and open-air evangelism on Bourbon Street in the evenings. Tom also goes with the same crew to evangelize Saints fans at the home games in New Orleans. Whenever and wherever preaching, Tom’s prayer is that our gracious God will keep him faithful to the authorized gospel message as an ambassador for his Lord and Saviour, King Jesus.
Greg Brown - Howell, MI
Greg was born and raised in Michigan. He attended a Presbyterian church through high school when the world distracted him. He graduated from Michigan State with a double major in chemistry and computer science. He began a career as a computer programmer while still an undergraduate and has done that for over twenty years. Along the way, he picked up a couple of masters degrees in information systems management and computer science. When he was thirty-one, God opened his eyes to the fact that he wasn’t actually a Christian and then graciously fixed that for him. This was effected through the evangelistic outreach of Berean Baptist Church in Livonia, Michigan. Greg still attends Berean. Within a few years, Greg began working with other members there to develop a program of evangelism and began evangelizing at public events such as local fairs and car shows. He has also worked with people from Berean and other local churches to evangelize the community in Dearborn and at various sporting events. Greg has been a long time usher at Berean and is on the men’s ministry leadership team.
Tom Cabral - Denham Springs, LA
Jason Cantrell - Kathleen, GA
I didn't grow up as a Christian and from a very early age I enjoyed being a rebel. While in High School I got involved with alcohol and drugs and was arrested for the first time my senior year. By the age of 21, my sinful and self serving lifestyle led me into Federal Prison where I served 28 months. Praise be to the Lord that He used this experience to get my attention and turn my life around. He converted me while in prison and then sent a man to disciple me. We got to spend a year and a half just studying the Bible. I now look back on my time in prison with thanksgiving. After being released in 2000, I moved to Atlanta and joined a "house church" that met in a coffee shop in Little 5 Points. As a church, we tried to serve the community and be faithful witnesses in this dark neighborhood. We got to know, serve, and share the gospel with the locals, the homeless community, and with runaways. I still enjoy going down to Little 5 Points and sharing the gospel. For the past 3 years the focus of my ministry has been to pre-born children, their parents, and those involved in the abortion industry. I try to offer help to all those who want it in the name of Christ, but I believe in a gospel centered approach to this sin. I believe in preaching the gospel and calling sinners to repent and believe on Christ. I also try to encourage the church to be a voice for the voiceless and to take a stand against the American Holocaust.

James Cartwright - Shelbyville, KY
My name is James Cartwright. I live in Kentucky with my wife Hannah and our two sons Joshua and Aubrey. I was raised in church and professed Christ at a very young age. It was not until thirteen that I came under conviction of my sin and turned to Christ. After that I started reading the Bible with a new desire. Although I did not have a good understanding of evangelism. At twenty I started seeking ways to evangelize the lost starting with a prayer station I had seen another Church do. Now I am a member of that church. I desire to preach to the lost and my elders are helping, guiding and conforming my calling. I hope one day to be a missionary to New Zealand but for now I hope to be a faithful preacher of the gospel.
John Coble - Nashville, TN
I’m John Coble and I live in the Nashville, TN area with my wife, Cara. I didn’t grow up in a Christian home, but came to Christ just before high school. Many years later, in October of 2008, I was experiencing severe back pain and went forward for prayer at a special “worship and prayer” service at my church. I didn’t receive physical healing, but I did receive a burden for lost people and for sharing the gospel. (My back eventually got better after months of physical therapy.)
I discovered Ray Comfort and Living Waters ministry a few months later when my TiVo DVR spontaneously recorded “The Way of the Master”. In 2010, I had the tremendous blessing of getting to attend Ambassadors’ Academy (#13) and as a result got connected with Bill Adams and Sports Fan Outreach Int’l.
Since then I have participated in at least 10 outreaches sponsored by SFOI. I regularly preach on the sidewalks and outside special events on weekends in downtown Nashville. I also preach at most of the Titans football home games. Proclaiming the Good News has been the most exciting, meaningful adventure I can imagine.
Ben Cohen
Gerry Collins - Bakersfield, CA
I was not brought up in a Christian home and was influenced for the Gospel by other family members attending church where the Gospel was proclaimed. I made a profession of faith at around 14 years of age but soon that profession was placed on the back burner during my teen years. While in the Air Force as firefighter at age 20 God had me surrounded by Christians who shared the truth with me and this is the point where I truly believe God saved me and changed my heart for Him. AT around 2003 the Lord caused me through His word to fall in love with the Gospel all over again and gave me a hunger to share Christ with the lost more than I ever had before. I have been greatly encouraged in faith and desire to share Christ by the ministry of Livingwaters/Way of the Master. I have attended Ambassadors Academy which has opened up for me to participate in street evangelism. I am married wonderful woman and have 5 grown children. My desire is share the Gospel with as many people as possible as God allows.
Brackston Combs -
Bloomington, IL
My Name is Brackston, I currently reside in Havana, IL with my wife Amanda and our Four (Almost Five!) Children. We have been married for almost 12 years. We have been blessed to Homeschool all our children. I am a medically retired U.S. Army Veteran with 2 combat deployments to Iraq.
I am a previously professing backsliding Atheist/Agnostic. The first time I came to Church was when my wife tricked me into going by telling me we were going to an Ice Cream Social, but God was dealing with me far before that during Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation shortly before I left the Army.
I spent most of my life addicted to some sort of Drug. I needed inebriation almost constantly because I did not want to face the absurdity of my World Views. You know the story, I blamed God for all of the bad things in my life – But refused to worship him or give him Thanks. But, God had mercy on my soul by putting people in my life who were not afraid to tell me the truth of my ways and rebuke me.
After a very traumatic PTSD episode which involved me attempting suicide by Jumping out of a moving vehicle – I came to the end of my rope after my Pastor came to visit me and sternly told me – I am not allowed to test God. I still struggled with full repentance, I was counting the cost as you would say.
But, God Finally opened my eyes in the end of 2015 and he began to start ripping all of the idols that I had, out of my life. He was breaking me for service. In the beginning of 2016, I would struggle with the two idols I hadn’t fully let go of – Drugs and Alcohol.
After coming across Evangelism videos on YouTube, and watching The Way Of The Master I began to realize God's calling for my life was not to evangelize to my pot-smoking buddies. I began to search on the internet, and found an amplifier and decided to purchase it. When the box arrived, I began to look at it – and realized I could not be a Cigarette and Pot smokin’, drunk of an evangelist. On that day, February 2nd 2016 I surrendered to God all of my remaining Idols – my lifelong addictions.
After this day, I began to go to locations with my amplifier and attempt to evangelize but, would ultimately chicken out. I began to pass out tracts in various parts of Bloomington and Normal, Illinois and that is when I ran into another street preacher and began getting involved with Him and several other evangelists in my area. I began to instead of trying to quench my thirst for drugs and alcohol, I developed the unquenchable thirst for learning more about God, His Righteousness and the true way my life is meant to be lived, and to most importantly to fulfill my calling to “Go and Preach the Gospel to All Creation.”
I am currently working on my Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry Degree from The Master’s University.
I am blessed to be a member of Covell Community Church in Bloomington, IL.
Soli Deo Gloria!

Bryan Conwell - Benson, MN
Bryan Conwell was born in Oklahoma City in 1986. He grew up in Kansas in the Topeka area. A turbulent early childhood ensued that concluded with his adoption by his biological uncle and his wife. Their names are Kent and Dawn Conwell. Bryan graduated high school in 2005 during which he worked for his fathers small business in Auburn Kansas. A year after graduation Bryan enlisted in the Marine Corps and was assigned an MOS of 6114, Huey and Cobra powertrain mechanic. After a five year tour and multiple deployments Bryan met a girl and thought she was grand. Problems quickly ensued after Bryan left the military, as he then decided to self medicate with alcohol. For three years his wife dealt with his emotional outbursts and drunken fits. Bridget birthed their son Logan in March of 2012. Bryan continued to drink after Logan was born and eventually lost both his son and his wife. The next few years were more of the same. More alcohol and self destructive behavior. In 2015 God in his infinite wisdom blessed Bryan with a dui. Gods grace was present in the treatment of Bryan by both the arresting officers and the courts. Bryan successfully completed his probation obligations and began attending Evangelical Free Church of Eaton in Colorado. It was there that Bryan was convicted in his heart of his wickedness and failures before God; of his open declaration of war upon his very creator. It was there that Christ washed him clean. It was there that His grace found the sinner. Bryan was baptized shortly after his conviction and salvation. While there Bryan met Steve Bauer, and through conversing with him Steve eventually invited Bryan to go out with the street evangelism team on Friday nights in Ft. Collins Colorado. Thus began Bryan's journey with Christ as a street preacher. Bryan now lives in Minnesota and by the grace and will of God is in a much better relationship with his son Logan. Bryan has been sober since 2015 by the grace of Christ. Bryan has continued to study and attend church in Benson. Bryan is very much looking forward to meeting many more members of the body of Christ. Blessing to you all and may Gods glory shine!

Dan Davis - Seymour, WI
Saved by the hand of God shortly after my wife was saved some 21 yrs ago now. We have been married for 24 years and have had one daughter who’s recently married to a godly young man. I’ve worked for Wisconsin in the highway department for about 20 years and now serve in the area of roadway maintenance. I currently serve in our new local home fellowship “Word from the Barn” as the Life Events Deacon for the last 3yrs. I’ve been sharing my faith through testimony and tracts for about 20 years but only 3 years of experience in open air preaching. I’m looking forward to laboring alongside my fellow brothers and sisters in the faith in a much larger venue SBO 16 and declaring the Glorious Gospel of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Matt De Jesus - Tempe, Arizona
I was introduced to the Gospel at 10 years of age. I went forward at my church, made a profession of faith, and was baptized- not fully understanding what I was doing. My road of sanctification, like many of you, has been a rocky one. As I grew to became an adult I learned intimately what God meant when He had Malachi refer to Him as “a refinerʼs fire…” (Mal 3:2) as well as the passage in Proverbs that tells us He disciplines those He loves (Prov 3:12). God was purifying me by ripping the sin, which I was clutching to so tightly, out of my hands. No discipline at the time is pleasurable, but needed. Needed to become a useful vessel that would honor God, not bringing a reproach to His name. This is an ongoing process until Glory. After years of watching “On The Box” and “Wretched” I had the opportunity to meet Tony Miano. I helped him with several videos and I learned quite a bit about street evangelism. I was so inspired that I had to open my mouth as well to proclaim the Gospel.
I have 3 adult children that the Lord has richly blessed me with. God has also blessed me with a video production business that I’ve owned for more than 30 years producing secular and Christian videos. I have produced several videos for Tony Mianoʼs Cross Encounters Ministries as well as Apologia Church and others.
Timothy Daniel Ferguson - Calhoun, GA

Went to the Georgia Baptist bible institute for 6 years where I got a Diploma in Christian Ministry. Went to seminary for 18 months. I have served in many areas in the church including Sunday School teacher, Youth leader and director and vacation bible school. I have done nursing home, jail ministries and street preaching for many years. I currently am a member of New Town Baptist church in Calhoun Georgia where I am an assistant Sunday school teacher and Director of brotherhood.
Greg Fischer - Denmark, WI
I am Greg Fischer. I was brought up in Roman Catholicism, but left the church when I left home, age 20. For about the next 10 years I attended only on holidays. My belief system was only to serve my own interests and pleasures. Then around age 30 I began to search a little more for the meaning of life, as well as some direction spiritually. At the urging of a fellow employee, I attended a charismatic church and became a member for the next 3 years. As it turned out, I was a false convert in a church that preached a false gospel, the “gospel” of prosperity. After leaving this church I began to settle into mostly Baptist churches, which, for the most part, preached solid, reformed theology. At age 36 I was finally truly saved. It has been a steady process of sanctification. Being solidly grounded in one church for 20 years, that does not compromise on the truth, has certainly helped to prepare me for street ministry. For the last 11 years I have been involved in street corner ministry, as well as outreaches at parades, state fairs, and nighttime street ministry. One of the greatest joys has been to get to know the brothers and sisters through SFOI, and serve the Lord with them.
Rick Garland - Bakersfield, CA
My name is Rick Garland. I married my wife Amy in 2013 and we care for 2 foster children. I have been open air preaching since 2012.
In 2016 my church commissioned me as a missionary to minister on the streets as well as the prisons of California. My ministry is Lighthouse Gospel Ministries and my website is www.gospelbeacon.org.
In the prisons I preach Bible study and evangelistic chapels, provide Bible's and Christian books for inmates as well as disciple men in Christian living.
Christian Giglio - Cincinnati, OH
Adam Gott - Cincinnati, OH
I was raised in a non-Christian home that professed to believe in God. For years I attended church and was never presented with the gospel, not knowing anything about the spiritual life that I was missing. In high school I abused the pleasures of this world and was broken. As a teenager I was approached by a pastor named Brian Adams, who gave a simple gospel message, piercing my heart and causing me to believe in the message of Jesus Christ. Yet, I lacked fellowship and congregation, and had no person to lead me in discipleship. I was choked with thorns and weeds in my spiritual growth for a long time, because I would not repent of my sin, despite the convictions I was feeling.
God eventually placed men in my life who would guide and teach me to love the Lord Jesus Christ through obedience and faith. Through time and tribulation, I have since grown in grace, knowledge and love for God. Today He is the sole motivating force of my life, and the reason for the change in my heart. Through Ray Comfort’s teachings I have sharpened the ability to share my faith. I sought other young men who loved the Lord, and again he provided; we formed a small bible study, and began seeking the Lord together.
This group of men has grown over the years into an effective body of believers with a passion for evangelism. Our young ministry, Many Waters Mission, preaches the gospel and distributes literature at various events and public places within Cincinnati and it’s suburbs. The desire of my heart is to connect with other evangelists, offering them the right hand of fellowship so that we can do more for the kingdom of God. I am excited to see how God will use this event for His glory!
Since I was called from darkness, God has given me a wonderful, godly wife and a beautiful son that I do not deserve. He set us in a good home, and has blessed the work of our hands. I thank Him without ceasing for blessing me despite the sins of my past, and giving me hope for a future with Him in his kingdom. Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jamie Hall - Myrtle Beach, SC
My name is James Hall. I'm from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I am single, never married. I am 43 years of age. I have been street evangelizing for 5 years. I currently evangelize on the street around my area as well as neighboring states, Superbowls and the Kentucky Derby.
At 16 years old I surrendered to the Lord's will on my heart. After many months of suppressing the truth. Listening to the Pastor preach on Hell. I sat on the back row of a Southern Baptist Church and became aware that day that Hell was very real to me. I had no idea when I was gonna die, or had any control over my life.
Being brought up in a church that had man- centered beliefs, such as decisionism, works, and tradition. I was unaware and had no discernment at the time.
Through studying of the Holy Scriptures for myself and relying on the Holy Spirit for discernment. Christ continually revealed the truth to me, and continues too, even to this day. About 10 years ago I heard a sermon that completely changed my life, called "Hell's best kept Secret" - by Ray Comfort. The one sermon sparked the fuel for the fire in my desire and the love I had for Christ to share the Gospel.
Several years after being called to assistant teaching at the church I was from. I joined an evangelist group called The 5 Solas Outreach Ministry. After learning quite a bit of reform theology I was quickly brought to my knees again in repentance to the Lord. There I truly learned how to share my faith openly, Preaching through Open-Air, and one on one evangelism. We taught each other and Truly equipped ourselves for the work of the Lord.
Four years ago I defended my faith and view of the scriptures to my local church. After the confrontation I left my first church for Christ, my first love. I have attended two reformed churches since. The second Reformed Baptist church is my current church I attending now. Continuing to be edified by my Lord Jesus Christ till the day he calls me home. Soli Deo Gloria
John Halliday - Calhoun, GA
I am the oldest son to John R. Halliday (deceased) and Lynn A. Cook-Halliday and my younger brother Mike T.K. Halliday (deceased).
I was born January 21, 1967 in Ypsilanti Mi. in Washtenaw County.
My parents brought our family down from Ypsilanti Michigan in 1976 to Dalton Ga. I later moved to Calhoun Ga for work and that’s when I met my wife Tammy. I have been happily married to her since April 12, 1999. We have three children, and eight grandchildren.
Salvation testimony:
My mother had taken us to visit with several different local churches in the Dalton area. After we had settled in the north Dalton area I started attending services at Cedar Valley Church of God. During a revival in the summer of 1980, the pastor there Clayton Brown in a very enthusiastic message on Heaven and Hell I realized Hell was where I was going. I was thirteen years old when I realized that my life up until then was just a life of sin. I knew what I was, a sinner. During that Saturday night message the pastor gave an altar call, I slid out of my pew and went down to the altar and openly admitted to being a sinner and confessed my sins to God. I was baptized that Sunday night, my mother was so proud to be in attendance. I never truly joined Cedar Valley but did continued to attend until I was sixteen. Being a new Christian didn't excuse the fact that I got caught up in worldly things and put Jesus second in my young life even though I did attend church services at several different places and denominations. My wife asked me to attend Boone Ford in 2004 with her family but I still remained distant. I became very close with my grandfather, after the death of my father. He became very ill and was hospitalized in 2009. He was only there 5 days before his passing. I was there with him the last night, with my Bible in hand with all intention of
finding out for sure of my grandfather's salvation. I struggled with the words explaining my own salvation to him, but it really bothered me that I'd did so little to lead him to the Lord. I really don't know if I truly got through to him. This ate away at me until revival of 2009. With the help of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I rededicated myself unto him. I have truly put all my trust into Jesus for it was never me alone that had gotten me this far in life. Once I accepted this fact my life has truly changed.
Church:
I am proud to be a member of Boone Ford Baptist church in Calhoun Ga. Since 2009. I gladly share my testimony with all. My Lord and savior Jesus Christ has truly blessed me with salvation. I owe everything to Lord Jesus Christ. I held several small jobs within the church: usher, greeter, and project manager for church upgrades (renovations and additions). Called by God as a men’s Sunday school teacher, then preacher, also broadcast on the radio ministry.
Education
Graduation from Northwest Whitfield Rocky face Ga. In the summer of 1985. Enlisted in the United States Army in August that same year. While stationed at Ft. Sill I had opportunity to take two semesters of collage in Lawton Oklahoma. Finished my tour of duty in Germany and received an honorable discharge in 1988 due to downsizing forces of my MOS “Pershing Nuclear Missile System”. Which is due to the treaty signed by then President Reagan and Soviet Union general secretary Gorbschev. I was called back to active duty in 1990 for operation desert storm. Never made it to Iraq as the need diminished before I set foot on Iraq soil.
I enrolled at Gospel schools of the bible, which is a satellite location of Gospel schools of the bible Mineral Springs NC. Upon completion of my study in 2012, I was given the adult men’s class at Boone Ford to teach Sunday. January of 2013 I was called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have continued my studies at Gospel Schools of the Bible under Dr. Leamon Smith, president and founder. Received my Certificate of License to preach the gospel in June of 2103. I have furthered my education over the last seven plus years, earning a PHD in bible theology. I continue my studies under the Dr. Smith and my Pastor Dr. Gary Quarles.
Joe Hinson - Denton, TX
I have been married for going on 20 years to Missy. We’ve been together since high school. We have 2 sons, Seth 14 and Ben 10. We live in Denton Texas about an hour north of Dallas.
I lived as a false convert for several years until around 10 years ago when by God’s grace I came into contact with Ray Comfort’s “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” and “True and False Conversion”. The first message helped me to truly understand the Gospel and the second revealed my complete absence of Faith in said Gospel.
Currently my family and I are making preparations to relocate to the Provo Utah area to Lord willing be a part of disciples being made and see churches being planted.
Soli Deo Gloria!

Jerardo Ibarra - Houston, TX
I was born & raised in Houston, Texas and currently live about 5 miles east of downtown Houston. All four of my kids are grown adults that are working or are in college. I work as an HVACR technician in the industrial chemical plants.
Raised in a catholic household, I remember going to church when I was small, but only knew religion. I knew nothing about what the Bible teaches to be born again. As a lost person, I lived in many sins of the world and did not think about heaven, hell or the consequences of my lifestyle. I was far away from God and comfortable in my sin.
In 2009, God opened my ears to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. God removed my heart of stone, gave me a new heart of flesh and put a new spirit within me. Of all the places for this to happen, it was at a funeral viewing of a coworker’s mother that I recently started working with. The pastor was bold and feared God rather than men. He did not scratch itching ears that night, he preached about our standing with God in our sin and the eternal punishment in the wrath to come if we did not truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I could feel the conviction of all my sins at that moment. Then he preached about what Jesus Christ’s blood had done on the cross for my sins, I could not escape the love of God that had been shed abroad in my heart and the wickedness of my sin so I prayed and cried out for God to save me.
The Gospel preaching was presented in Spanish that night. A raise your hand and repeat after me prayer was presented. After fighting with my pride about what my coworkers that where next to me would think of me, I remember feeling completely hopeless without the Christ that he was talking about! Inside I could feel the price that was paid for me on the cross and I remember being broken and telling myself, “I don’t care if y’all laugh at me for the rest of my life, I WANT THAT CHRIST HE’S TALKING ABOUT!”
Unlike the common false conversions of a sinner’s prayer, God’s grace saved me that night and through the Holy Spirit guiding me to His Word of Truth. What I felt that night stayed with me from then on and I had desires and passions that I never had before and a hatred to the sins I always loved. I did not know what was going on with me. I would get excited every time I seen someone say the sinner’s prayer, just to later find out that it’s not a prayer that saves you and many times creates false converts. I would wonder why there was never that true born again conversion like in my life because I never had anyone hold my hand and disciple me early in my new birth, but God is faithful to save His sheep!
God saved me out of religion and gave me a desire to go into the streets and tell people about Jesus Christ. There was a desire to go to streets but it took years before I was obedient to my calling. I did not know what street preaching was or how to do it until I seen some guys preaching while I was leaving the only Houston Texans football game I have ever attended. Now knowing about street preaching, I prayed and God answered my prayer by sending me brothers that I could learn from, brothers that street preach all over the U.S. and around the world.
I started by passing out gospel tracts with brothers around the Houston area. My first open air preaching was at a Scotland Preaching Tour with JeremiahCry Ministries. By God’s grace, I now go every Friday and Saturday night to Downtown Houston preaching outside popular bars and club spots. I have preached at major events in surrounding cities such as Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. In July of 2019 the Founder of JeremiahCry Ministries made me part of the JeremiahCry ministry team and I am so thankful to partner up with brothers that are unashamed and boldly preach Jesus Christ and him crucified.
I have come to the realization that I have been bought with a price and I am no longer my own. I cannot stay silent about Jesus Christ and how He gave His life on the cross for sinners like me. Only by His grace and mercy will I continue to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the power of God unto salvation.
All praise and glory be to God!
No King But Christ!

Sean Keefe - Raliegh, NC
Born in a non-Christian home, I was a flesh loving, non-penitent, non-regenerate Roman Catholic from New Jersey for all of my teenage life. When I was 20, by God’s grace, He intervened in some supernatural ways combined with the Gospel. Shortly after that, I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, the Thanksgiving of 99. Then I moved from Phoenix to Raleigh in 2003, met my wife, Elisa, in 2006 and married that lovely woman in 2007. I have two step children, Miranda and Joe. I worked as a property manager of an apartment community in Durham, NC from 2006 to 2016 and then for a marvelous Christian ministry (TWR). Through my wife’s encouragement and the fellowship/discipleship of more mature believers, I became more passionate about the great commission, specifically through street evangelism since 2013. By God’s providence I have had the privilege to publicly proclaim Christ on numerous occasions and many one-on-one conversations as well. This is not my first Super Bowl Outreach and hopefully not my last. Many of them were intense, but to serve the LORD in such a biblically relevant way is rewarding. Praise be unto the only God and worthy is the Lamb!
Elisa Keefe - Raleigh, NC
I’ve lived in North Carolina my entire life and I grew up going to church. I loved church people, reading the Bible, the whole nine yards. Until… I went to college and became an apathetic agnostic/atheist, and later a devout humanist in the Unitarian Universalist tradition.
By God’s grace, I am among the 2-4% of Christians who are saved after the age of 30 (42, to be exact). My husband Sean shared the Gospel with me, and God saw fit to save me in 2006.
I currently work full time at TWR (the world’s farthest-reaching Christian media ministry) as the Director of the US Spanish Ministry. The US Spanish Ministry focuses on ministering to Hispanics in the US, distributes radio programs, and provides support to our partner offices throughout the Spanish-speaking world. (Find more at www.twr.org/elisa-keefe)
In my free time, I enjoy doing evangelism alongside Sean, passing out tracts, engaging in spiritual conversations and supporting the preaching in prayer. This keeps me passionate about the saving power of the Gospel and the Holy God that we serve!
I attended SBO ‘15 in Phoenix and am looking forward to being part of this year’s event. I love the Lord, I love evangelism and I love the Lord’s people.

Stirling Long was born a twin in Johannesburg, South Africa. Shortly thereafter his parents moved to Kitwe in Zambia. He and his twin brother Garth were educated in the Eastern Province of South Africa and attended a Private Boarding School Run by Catholics.
After school Stirling and his twin brother Garth joined the British South Africa Police Force. The 1960’s and 1970’s were very troubling times in Africa. Rhodesia was at that time at war with Communist Trained Insurgents. This was at the height of the Cold War and Communism was fast spreading through the undeveloped world of South America, Asia, and Africa.
Later Garth, Stirling’s Twin was to be ambushed in the May of 1977 and although he survived the ambush attack, he was left severely injured. Garth, told Stirling in hospital that as the ambush occurred, he had shouted out, ” Jesus Save Me!” Milliseconds later the RPG rocket exploded inside his vehicle. Leaving Garth and the driver as the sole survivors. He was seriously injured and left totally blind.
One Good Friday in 1988, Stirling attended a Protestant Church and heard the full Gospel preached. The Preacher repeatedly stated, “You must be Born Again, or you won’t even see Heaven!” This simple Gospel message so impressed Stirling that as the altar call was given, he raced up to the altar to give his life to the Lord.
Stirling completed a D J Kennedy Evangelism Explosion Ill training Course and worked with an Australian Ministry called, “Reach Out Ministries “, helping with their street evangelism programs in Soweto and Johannesburg. Reach Out Ministries also traveled to nearby Swaziland and did open air preaching in the townships and surrounding Cities. The 80’ and 90’s and early 2000’s was an incredible time to be a Christian in changing Southern Africa.
In 2006 Stirling and his then wife Diana immigrated to Los Angeles CA. They later moved South East to Georgia in 2009 and settled close to their daughter Bernadette in Dawsonville GA. Three years later Stirling’s wife Diana was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It was whilst nursing Diana with an incurable condition that he came to understand the true meaning of God’s faithfulness. The Lord supernaturally provided for them and made a way for Stirling to give up work to help nurse Diana. The last five months of Diana’s life and the 11 days in Hospice reinforced his belief that death was a certainty, and we all in desperate need of a Savior. Diana died in March 2016.
In June 2017 Stirling married Carol Pilcher, also a widow. They soon became involved in street ministry handing out gospel tracts at Malls and College Campuses. In August 2019 Stirling contacted Son Life Ministries in Athens GA. SonLife mentored and instructed Stirling in the basics of Open-Air Preaching.
They are dedicated to taking the Gospel to their Neighbors and surrounding Cities. Stirling has preached on two occasions at their City’s “Moonshine Festivals”. Stirling and Carol are active on the streets and Squares of Dahlonega, Dawsonville, and Helen GA.
Carol Long - Dawsonville, GA
Carol Long was born and raised in Griffin Georgia located sixty miles south of Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents became Christians during her adolescence years, however, after being married 25 years they divorced and followed the ways of the world. Sadly, Carol and her three siblings repeated the same sins of their father and mother. It was on this bed of divorce that she recognized her need for a Savior, therefore, repenting of her sins and receiving Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Shortly after her conversion, she resigned her secular job with the government and volunteered for full-time Christian service. From 1993-1999 Carol served as a Mission Service Corp Volunteer with the North American Mission Board in foreign and home missions. Her Short-term mission trips were: India, Brazil, London, Kenya, Mexico, Thailand, and Ghana. Next was her first long-term assignment at Valley Drive Baptist Church in Miles City, MT as their Singles Ministry Coordinator helping women who had gone through broken and unhealthy relationships. A few years later the Montana Southern Baptist Fellowship in Billings, MT asked her to serve on staff as their Singles Ministry and Church Development Director where she could help 138 churches instead of one.
In 2000, due to family illness, Carol resigned her position in Montana and moved back to Georgia where she worked as a ministry consultant in the video sales department of the Walk Thru the Bible Ministry in Atlanta, Georgia under the Presidency of Dr. Bruce Wilkerson. She also served on the Prayer Team led by Darlene Wilkerson.
Carol is currently married to Stirling Long and they live in Dawsonville, Georgia. They are active in their Acts 2:42Day home fellowship church weekly providing a prayer meeting that consist of other churches throughout the town and evangelize at the North Georgia College in Dahlonega and close surrounding towns. Carol and Stirling are the parents of five children and ten grandchildren.
Warren and Darlene Marquardt - Lakeland, FL
Warren and Darlene are originally from Wisconsin but now live in Florida. We were both born again by the grace of our LORD and Savior Jesus (Yehovah Elohiym), the Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit (Ruwach Elohiym), as initiated by the Father ('Ab) in 1989. One God in three persons. Since then we have continued raising our 4 children into adulthood and now as empty nesters are seeking to serve our God in other ways. We are thankful for the ministry of SFOI in providing many of those other ways. We also do our own street outreach and from time to time abortion clinic ministry.
We serve in the children's ministry at our local church and consistently stay late at church to minister to the needs of the building and the people who attend services and arrive early to pray for the service that day and any other known needs. Our greatest desire as a couple is to be an example of Christ and the church to the world at large. We know we share equally in the ministry that God has given us to do and we honor the marriage covenant with the husband as the head (the example of Jesus who laid down his life for the church) and the wife as the church (seeking to serve Jesus in all things). There is no greater thing in life than to serve the Living God in all that we do whether separately or in unity. We look forward to serving with you in Miami!
Teresa Mathers - Brandon, FL
Dick Maxwell - New Port Richey, FL
My name is Dick Maxwell and I surrendered to Christ in 1985. I came from a background steeped in drugs, alcohol and sinful dysfunction. At first I didn’t have any strong discipleship and suffered emotionally which resulted in a long road out of sin and into knowing His Lordship. I was eventually led to a church in 1990 and have been a part of it ever since, interrupted by five years helping establish training schools in the Dominican Republic. The name of the church is Calvary Chapel Worship Center in New Port Richey, FL and I have been on staff since October 14, 2002. Around 2010, the Lord called my wife and I to minister the Gospel at abortion facilities in the Tampa Bay area. For me it was both terrifying and fulfilling as I was forced to depend more and more on God to empower me to deny myself and obey my Lord.
Through relationships built in this ministry to God’s image bearers, we came to know Scott and Patti Smith and through that friendship I found myself not just introduced to open air preaching but invited to the 2012 Dogwoood Festival to receive training from Bill Adams, Scott Smith and Tony Miano and to put it into practice on the streets of Atlanta. I was off and running from that point forward.
Since then, I have been a part of a few training events with SFOI and this will be my third SBO. We are still heavily involved in ministry to the preborn. Our ministry around Tampa Bay and elsewhere in the country to the preborn holds me back from the time I would like to spend with other street preachers at times but that very same ministry would not be nearly as powerful if it were not for the fellowship that I have with SFOI and the guys I have come to know. SFOI is every bit as responsible as my own church in the work that God has done in my heart to prepare me to fulfill His calling.
In addition to proclaiming the Gospel at an abortion facility, we preach regularly in downtown Clearwater around Scientology facilities and during their outreaches, at various LGBT events as well as at public events in New Port Richey and surrounding cities. I recently taught a class at our church on proclaiming and and was able to use the book “A Certain Sound” by Scott Smith and Ryan Denton. I thank God for the fellowship of SFOI and for the iron sharpening iron which God has done through those whom He has placed me beside.

Jason McGough – Loris, SC
My name is Jason McGough. I am originally from Massachusetts. I have been married for 12 years to my lovely bride Missy. I have 4 children. Morgan (19), Jayce (10) Lillie (7), and Knox (1). And now one grandchild. Kennedy (6 mos).
I served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years aboard the submarine USS Miami (SSN-755) otherwise known as the “Big Gun” as a Mess Specialist (Cook). I departed the military in 2003 and moved to where I now call home, South Carolina. I began work at the outback Steakhouse as a grill cook and at that time met my beautiful bride, who was a server, Missy McGough. After hearing the Gospel and Christ regenerated my heart a year after meeting Missy, we were joined together in marriage and began our life together as one.
For about 8 years we immersed ourselves into a local Baptist church right down the road from where we lived and served in children’s ministry and choir singing. About 4 years ago a friend reached out to me about a local street ministry opportunity in Myrtle Beach. I had felt a burning desire to tell others about Christ, so this was my chance. After that night, I began to minister in the streets and joined my 1st outreach with a large group at the Fall for Greenville festival in 2013. After attending this outreach, I was introduced to SFOI and the SBO by a friend, and now this will be my 5th Super Bowl. My 2nd as Co-Director and 3rd as an unofficial Team Leader.
It has been a great pleasure serving with SFOI for the past 5 years as a student and helping hand to the ministry. I have met so many wonderful saints and look forward to serving more and more until the Lord returns or calls me home! Soli Deo Gloria.

Nolan Moody - Millbrook, AL
Scott Philips - Jefferson, GA
Nathaniel Porter - Akron, OH
When I was six years old, I asked Jesus into my heart while I was on the potty. Growing up in an ordinary American evangelical household, I believed that praying the simple prayer of “Jesus please come into my heart,” was both necessary and sufficient to be saved from my sins. My parents had left the ELCA church we were attending around this time in my life because they had begun affirming homosexuality even in the early 1990s. We moved a non-denominational church that was more biblical, preached God’s Word, and encouraged personal study. Throughout my childhood my mom took me to all of the vacation bible schools and other church activities she could find. She always told me to think about Jesus before she dropped me off at. My dad always encouraged me to “keep my Bible where I could get at it.” My parents did the best they knew how to raise me in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
The problem was that the simple prayer didn’t bring about my conversion and Jesus wasn’t “in my heart.” The first time I look at pornography was when I was thirteen, I first got drunk when I was seventeen, and the first time I abused drugs was when I was twenty-three. I lived my life as a moralistic-therapeutic-deist. I was moralistic because I knew the Bible and the rules of pietistic Christianity. I was either proud and self-justified by this knowledge, or crushed when I failed to live up to my imaged standard. At the times I was crushed, I would come to God to therapeutically to either have my sins forgiven and to get more of His stuff. Finally, I was very deistic in that I didn’t see God as particularly involved in my affairs.
My conversion came when I was in law school at the age of twenty-seven. During the time I was in law school I had become severely addicted to Adderall and opiates. I had even obtained two different scripts from separate doctors. I was eventually caught double-dipping, cut off by the doctors, and was no longer able to continue in my addiction. Because of this I was forced to take a medical leave from law school and also to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. AA’s third step is to “Make a decision to turn your will and life over to God.” This is an impossible task for the natural man as I quickly found out. Around this time, I was also listening to sermons by a famous preacher in the Presbyterian tradition who made a point to preach the Gospel each time he exposited the Word. One night I had cried out that Jesus would never leave me, and this time God used a simple prayer to effect my conversion. Something had changed; I was changed and I needed to know what had happened.
I became Reformed early in my faith. When I was converted I immediately knew that my entire life I had not actually been a Christian. The first book of the Bible that I studied in any depth was Paul’s letter to the Romans. Romans 1:18-32 was the first place in the Bible that I noticed the Scriptures lining up perfectly with reality because it seemed to perfectly describe the depths of my depravity. I realized from this study that I was formally a God-hater and was now made new threw faith in Christ alone and not by any moralistic work.
Shortly after I became a Christian I served for three and half years in the middle school ministry at my former non-denomination church. There I taught a group of students from the time they were in sixth grade through eighth grade and began with a fresh crop of students until I moved to a new church in the winter of 2018. I am now a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and hold to the Westminster Standards. I have been engaged in street evangelism since the summer of 2018.

Chip Smith - Ranger, GA
Jacob Stafford - TX
There was a time when I was wandering through life and got my sense of identity from playing hockey. I was a goalie who had even skated with pros, but my career ended when I quit playing in college. Then I went crazy studying philosophy trying to find myself, meaning, and peace.
Then I went to church on Easter of 2015. I heard about Jesus, and started believing and following Him.
And now I have been ridiculously changed by Him. I have forgiveness and eternal life with God.
Do you have a story like that?

Joseph R. Toy, Jr. -
Folcroft, PA
Joe grew up in Shillington, PA and attended First EC Church of Reading. He is a 1978 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. In 1982, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Millersville University. In the spring of 1982 as a senior in college, Joe committed his life to Jesus Christ. Upon graduation, Joe began his career as an accountant in Trenton, NJ. During this time, he attended Newtown Community Church in Newtown, PA. While attending this church, Joe felt the call to full time ministry. He left his job to attend Moody Bible Institute for a 3-week seminar on Urban Evangelism with plans to attend Evangelical Seminary in the fall of 1984. When Joe returned from Moody, he began a street ministry in the city of Reading called Inner City Campaigners. From this street ministry, an outreach to children and teens began at First EC of Reading called The Source. This ministry continued from 1984 to 1988 when Joe moved to Philadelphia, PA. Joe began his theological studies at Evangelical in 1984 and ended in 1987. During this time, Joe became a commissioned missionary and a licensed preacher in the Evangelical Congregational Church in May of 1985.
In 1985, Joe and Wendy met at Evangelical Seminary while working on his Masters of Divinity studies. They were married at the chapel at Evangelical on March 22, 1986. Joe and Wendy have five sons. Jared(1987), Seth(1989), Ethan(1989), Aaron(1991) and Adam(1984). The boys were primarily home schooled from 1991 to 2013. Both Jared and Seth serve in The U.S. Coast Guard. Ethan is a career firefighter/paramedic in Currituck County, North Carolina. Aaron is employed at Wellesley Assisted care Facility as a food services manager. Adam serves in the U.S. Air Force. Joe and Wendy have been blessed with six grandchildren named: Forest, Joseph Conner, Morgan, Savannah and Jackson.
In 1988, Joe and Wendy moved to Philadelphia to begin an association With Open Air Campaigners. During this time, they worked in an internship status with this mission board. The ministry of Open Air Campaigners is to do the work of Evangelism and to train others in Evangelism in an urban setting. This association lasted until 1992 when Joe resigned because of doctrinal issues that conflicted with the EC Church. Upon resolution of the proposed doctrinal changes within OAC, Joe served as an associate evangelist with them until 2000. Joe now serves on the board of directors of OAC, Inc. At this point Joe became one of the few Evangelical Congregational Church Denominational missionaries, which is a status that continued until 2008. In 1993, Joe established a ministry called Open Air Ministries-Philadelphia. Now Joe has formed his own 501c non-profit corporation called Open Air Ministries, Inc from 2009 until the present day.
Joe’s ministry is primarily evangelistic by nature. Outreach is conducted at bus stops, subways, college campuses, center city, parades, events, neighborhoods, parks and other areas in and around the Metro Philadelphia Area. Joe does weekly outreach in Camden, NJ and in the summer conducts outreach at the New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware beach resorts. Through the years, Joe has been involved in the Philadelphia Port Ministry from 1988 to 2001. Also, much outreach has been done in inner city neighborhoods with children. Joe was a co-pastor for Metro Kids an outdoor kid’s church in various locations in Philadelphia from 2007 to 2011. Many times a year Joe travels to national events such as Mardi Gras, Indy 500, Spring Break Florida, Senior Week in Ocean City, MD and others to share the gospel. Another large part of Joe’s work is training others in evangelism. Joe spends a number of weeks each year training youth groups, college students, missionary candidates and others in evangelism. Some of these groups spend time with in Philly for a day or a week. The summer is especially busy with hosting these teams, including a number of EC Church youth groups. Joe and Wendy and Aaron live in Folcroft, which is in Delaware County, PA. Folcroft is located very close to the Philadelphia Airport. They attend Crossroads Community Church, which is in Upper Darby.
Joshua Tubbs - Helena, AL
My name is Joshua Tubbs and I live in Helena, Alabama just minutes south of Birmingham. I am married to a loving and faithful wife for almost fifteen years and have been blessed with four daughters. I was in the media and advertising business for close to twenty years before I left to start my own business. The Lord saved me around eleven years of age but I didn’t get serious about sharing the gospel until some years back. I was tired of being on the sidelines and even in the stands watching from a distance as the battle waged on the field of evangelism. I am grateful and thankful beyond words at the grace of our mighty God and His patience with me. I hope that the Lord can use me to share the gospel to a lost and dying world and that I can be an encourager to fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Tommy Waltz - Raleigh, NC
I grew up in a family with no religious background. The leaders in my life were alcoholics and loved pornography, so this was my influence. I was born a twin. While I was in the womb, my position did not allow my right side to develop properly. I entered the world partially paralyzed and developed a speech impediment when I started talking. In the fourth grade I was diagnosed with a learning and reading disability. I was picked on a lot in school and was told that I was slow and dumb. During my late teenage years my father told me that I was not going to work on his farm because of my slow comprehension. I found work in Columbia, South Carolina as a personal trainer and my idol became my body. I also joined several rock bands. With my last band we produced a CD and toured the Southeast.
This life was from the pits of hell. The longer I lived, the more I hated my life. I had no purpose, no meaning, and no direction.
At the age of twenty-three, a lady invited me to a play on the life of Jesus. It explained His life from birth to His resurrection. This was the start of the whole transformation. I didn’t give my life to Christ that night. I continued running for a year. As I read God’s word, deeper conviction of sin grew. I was on the verge of taking my life, but through God’s grace He spared my life. The night I was going to take my life I found a card in my room from a person that reminded me of Jesus’ love for me. Turning to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, I repented and placed my faith in Jesus that night in my room. My view of life is simple – Jesus died and came out of the grave for me, so I have to live for Him.
My Jesus found me broken on my bedroom floor not wanting to live anymore. Oh, how can I not share His Glorious Name? He has taken a slow, crippled boy off a farm in South Carolina and given him new life. I type this with tears in my eyes. I am a man who is blessed beyond measure with an amazing wife who has believed in me from day one and three amazing girls.
May we all boast together in what Jesus Christ has done in all of our lives. We serve an amazing God. He saved us and now He deserves our entire lives.
I have had the opportunity to lead a ministry called Gospel of God Ministries since 2009. GGM preaches and teaches the Gospel until faith becomes action.
The faith has a twofold action. First, it is pulling the unbeliever into the kingdom through repentance and faith in Jesus. Second, it is pushing the believer out into the world to share their faith. Find out more at http://www.gospelgm.com
This will be my fifth SBO with New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, and San Francisco under my belt by God’s grace. I look forward to leading my team alongside the other leaders at next year’s SBO. Go and proclaim the Gospel to see a life transformed!
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
Jeff Warner - Bull Shoals, AR
My name is Jeff Warner, I'm 36 years old from Grants Pass, OR. I have a wife and 3 wonderful kids. I didn't grow up in the church and didn't even open a Bible until I got saved at age 29. I literally knew nothing about the Bible...I didn't know about Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses, Jesus, etc, I guess you can say I was a true clean slate. I got saved on Sept 20th 2009.
I have been very active in sharing the Gospel for the past 4 years, prior to that I just didn't have any idea where to start and didn't know anybody who did evangelism, which is a sad commentary on modern day Churchianity. I started open air preaching in San Francisco at SBO '16 and have been preaching regularly ever since. I was blessed to preach with a group of brothers through SFOI in San Diego at the MLB All Star Game as well as several events throughout Oregon and in Reno, NV, etc. The Lord has opened many doors for ministry this year and I can't wait to preach with the saints at SBO '17.

Ken White - Prosperity, SC
Hi my name is Ken White. By God’s Grace, “I am the husband of one wife”, my beautiful and faithful wife, Webze White. Webze was born and raised in the Philippines, and has been in Christ and faithfully and diligently serving Him for several decades, well before the LORD saved me and gave me a new heart.
I am over half a century old now, and am so incredibly thankful to the LORD to be able to say that I have been serving the Lord Jesus Christ for more than half of my life – Only by His Mercy and Grace. The LORD saved me around 1990, and very shortly after, I began to share the Gospel (to the best of my understanding at the time) and soon became involved in missions.
In 1993 I went to the Philippines to join a filipino church planting ministry team which included, Webze, as one of the members, and that is where we met and were later married. Since that time we have also been involved in other interdenominational ministries, and though we would often question many things regarding various teachings and practices, the Bible, God’s Unchanging Word, has been our anchor all along.
In 2011 I was introduced to the doctrines of Grace, and some truths that were verified for me came together, which impacted me greatly. Very shortly after that, I was compelled and challenged to begin to preach in the open-air. In the Power of the Holy Spirit and with the confidence of Jesus Christ and His Word, I have been preaching regularly ever since. May our Great God be Praised for all that He chooses to do in and through such weak vessels! (2 Corinthians 4:5-7 / 1 Corinthians 2:4,5 / 1 Corinthians 1:26-29)
